I took these photos a while ago, but quite a short time after I moved back to my house. It was just before the New Years Eve, so like a normal person I had all these reflections on what I did and what I should have done this year. Obviously I came to a conclusion that I screwed up everything.

During December I was more or less alone for two weeks with only some friends passing by my place occasionally. I had a lot of time to think and I couldn’t be more grateful for this break. I did something simple that changed me as a person. Basically I listed all the things that I love to do, no matter how productive or useless they could be. After that I decided to put all of these things in front of everything else.

Anyways things I wrote down could be ridiculous for others, they ranged from sleeping to painting, eating nachos to travelling. I feel everyone would have a completely different list; it just depends on the things we are currently missing from our lives. Surprisingly it was extremely hard to lay everything aside and concentrate on what I actually love. I had a constant feeling that I’m wasting time, I’m not productive, there’s no point in doing that.

Do you want another fun fact? I actually stopped going to school often (please don’t do that, just don’t), I missed out on a lot of new topics and revisions but the fact that I felt quite peaceful with my life and I was happier, magically raised my grades.

So my challenge for you today is to do the same things and just step by step, do what you love doing and not what you think you should be doing.
